Who is eligible to enroll?

For Single Trip policy
Individual Plan: All individual AMEX Cardmembers, family members or friends aged 12 years or above and who are residing in Hong Kong with valid HKID cards.
Family Plan: Includes the insured person, his/her spouse and/or legal child(ren). The insured/spouse must reside in Hong Kong with a valid HKID card and be over 18 years of age on the departure date. Legal child(ren) includes stepchild(ren) and/or legally adopted child(ren) who is/are Hong Kong resident/s and on the departure date he/she/they is/are 1) at least 3 months of age and below 18 years of age (or below 23 years of age if studying full time in a recognized institution), 2) wholly dependent on the insured or insured's spouse for financial support and not gainfully employed in any way and 3) unmarried.
For Annual policy
Individual Plan: All individual AMEX Cardmembers, their spouse, their parent(s)/parent(s)-in-law or child(ren) aged 18-70 years old who are residing in Hong Kong with valid HKID cards.
Family Plan: Includes the insured person, his/her spouse and/or legal child(ren). The insured/spouse must reside in Hong Kong with a valid HKID card, and be between 18-70 years of age on the commencement date of insurance. Legal child(ren)includes stepchild(ren) and/or legally adopted child(ren) who is/are Hong Kong resident/s and during the period of insurance he/she/they is/are 1) at least 3 months of age and below 18 years of age (or below 23 years of age if studying full time in a recognized institution), 2) wholly dependent on the insured or insured's spouse for financial support and not gainfully employed in any way and 3) unmarried.
